ErMC2 is proud to formally announce its new management team comprised of Michael Ricci, who has been named General Manager and President; Nicholas Dawson, Senior Vice-President; Todd Beavan, Vice-President and Manager of Engineering; Scott McGuire, Vice-President and Senior Geotechnical Engineer; and Danny Hall, Vice-President and Senior Project Manager.
Each manager has a unique area of expertise. Ricci and Dawson were, of course, charter owners of ErMC2. Ricci is a PE in Civil Engineering with over 25 years of experience in the development and use of computer systems for the modeling of mineral reserves and mine sequencing plans; environmental permitting; and hydrologic/ sedimentologic modeling and volumetric design. Dawson is an EIT in Mining Engineering and possesses over 20 years of mining engineering experience, his areas of expertise lying in surface and underground coal production; reclamation liability and environmental assessments; and mine permitting and design for coal and non-coal permits.
Other owners include Beavan, a PE in Mining Engineering; McGuire, a PE in Geotechnical Engineering; and Hall, a MBA and Mining Engineer. McGuire and Beavan designed one of the first underground seals to be approved and implemented nationwide. Additionally, McGuire is considered an expert in the field of coal waste impoundment and refuse storage facilities. Hall is experienced in mine design and layout as well as market analysis and reporting. Hall and Beavan perform reclamation liability studies, provide due diligence consulting, and work closely with clients.
In addition to former majority shareholder Rick Thomas selling all of his interest in ErMC2 to the current management team, ErMC2 has undergone a few other changes. For instance, the "R" in "ErMC2" now stands for "Resources" because that is what, we feel, more accurately represents who we are and what we do: We are environmental resource consultants offering mining, civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering services. ErMC2 also offers expertise in the areas of environmental chemistry, environmental assessments, hydrology and 404 permitting, remediation, management consulting, reclamation, and claims management.
